Padrino Program

Become a Padrino, sponsor a child’s education!




As a Padrino (godfather) you do not only cover the costs of the education of one child, you also have the opportunity to become a mentor and friend.

Your monthly contribution covers all educational expenses of one child. This includes lesson materials, books, pens, pencils and notebooks, a morning snack, but also part of this child’s teachers’ wages and part of all general expenses made by the school for this particular student.

Padrino contribute 350 quetzales, 35 euros or 50 dollars per month to finance the education of one specific child. As a Padrino you know that you are making it possible for one child to attend school through your financial as well as your mental support.

Many children that attend Nuestro Futuro do not get a lot of support from their family members; It is important for a child to know that there is somebody out there who cares about them and the progress they make at school. This is why Padrinos are encouraged to write to the sponsored child, send photographs and to possibly visit the child.
