Since the beginning of NDG’s founding, dedicated volunteers have been a key part of fulfilling our mission at Niños de Guatemala. Volunteers get to experience Guatemala first-hand while doing good for the local communities. We welcome you into our Volunteer Program.
We offer a variety of volunteer work options: assist one of our English teachers in the Dual Immersion Program, support one of our teachers in the classroom, host your own sports or artistic expression workshop or tutor a group of students.

Most volunteers work in the school throughout the morning and study Spanish in our Spanish
school in Antigua in the afternoon.

Holidays at NDG
In Guatemala the school year runs from January to October. At NDG, we invite all students for extra classes in November.
Throughout the following dates, there is no volunteer work available:
- January (first 2 weeks)
- April 14-21 (Semana Santa)
- 24 June to 1 July (school holidays)
- October
- December
