Adolfo has over 30 years of managerial experience and 14 years of experience in the education sector. He has a strong background in finance and strategy and holds a degree in Business Management from Boston University specializing in Finance and Marketing, an MBA from INCAE, and a certification in Educational Leadership from Universidad Internaciones.
Guatemala Leadership


Carlos has over 15 years of work experience in Administration and Finances. He has a Bachelor's in Business Administration and a degree in Accounting.

Astrid has a bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Sales. She has more than 15 years of experience in sales and fundraising. She is firmly committed to building Guatemala through education.

Maria has over 25 years of experience in Education. She is a teacher and psychologist specializing in Family educational counseling. She firmly believes that educating children and youth can generate changes in Guatemala.

Carmen has over 22 years of experience in Education. She met Marten Dresen, Niños de Guatemala founder, and since 2007 has been part of Niños de Guatemala as one of the co-founders. She is the legal representative and administrative coordinator.

Ana Lucia has over ten years of experience in communications, fundraising, and development in Guatemalan and international NGOs. She has a bachelor's degree in Political Science, a master's degree in Public Administration, and a certification in Fundraising Manager.

Melissa was born and raised in the United States and has lived in Guatemala since 2017. She works with Niños de Guatemala as the Child-Sponsorship Coordinator. She works to ensure our sponsors and sponsored children have a frequent and live connection. Seeing the spark and light in the children's eyes as they learn reminds her of all they can be.

Julia began working with Niños de Guatemala in early 2022 as Communications Coordinator. She documents everything with her camera and is always looking for ways to help in our nonprofit. You can find her at the schools, helping with tours or volunteering activities or creating letters with the students and Melissa.
